Op Shop Top is all about recycling and reusing. I haunt local charity stores – known as op shops in New Zealand where I’m from – for denim jackets and wonderful clothes, fabrics, lace, trims and buttons that I use to breathe new life into the jackets.
Every jacket is unique, matching the style to the fabric, adding the lace, sparkle or trim, or stitching the perfect design into the denim.
Sizes and styles vary with each jacket as they are a mix of brands, depending on what I find in the charity stores. I’ve included some basic measurements for each jacket so you can check the fit.
I also make bespoke jackets. If you have a favourite denim jacket that could do with a bit of a makeover, get in touch and we can talk about the possibilities.
